Description: Over twenty-five countries are represented at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival, and only after years of discipline and sweat are acts allowed entrance into this elite competition. Winners are marked as the best of the best worldwide. World Circus documentary film follows five top circus acts from different countries as they prepare to compete at the 'Academy Awards' of circus competitions. For two months, through six countries and eleven cities, the acts are followed, along with interviews with the founder of the Big Apple Circus, owner of Ringling Brothers, and artistic director at Cirque du Soleil.
